It didn’t take long, and while in the college off-season, he joined Sigma FC, where he played 5 games, scoring 4 goals. After the regular season in 2015 he was picked 1st in the MLS super draft by Orlando City. He spent 3 years before forcing his much-awaited transfer by refusing to attend training, which led to the rescue from the Turkish-based team Besiktas. Besiktas is the current home of Cyle Larin, he plays in the Turkish Super league. He scored in his debut game, but that season was overall disappointing, and that led to him being loaned out to Belgian side Zulte Waregem, there he had a lackluster season before returning to Turkey. In 2019 he was joint second top scorer with 19 goals and won the league title.

In his international career he avoided the youth sides of the national team, as he’s debut was for the senior side.
